This is an operational railroad with minimum “garden” elements.  It is designed for operators to switch cars, make up trains and spot loads at various sites.  The railroad has several sidings internal and external to the mainline.  Most main structures are scratch build and include a grain elevator, freight building, oil depot and coal mine among others.
The railroad is all battery powered and controlled by the Aristo Revolution radio control system.
The layout was begun in July of 2003 and expanded upon since then.  The mainline is approximately 500’ in a folded figure eight.  There are five passing sidings and several spurs of varying lengths.  There is a four track run-through switching yard and an engine servicing facility.
